The Bestseller of all times is such a high-quality composite book that the Maker stands for its integrity. Not to be added to or removed from the Bible text.

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” (Ps 12:6 AV)

“Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.” (De 4:2 AV)

“What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.” (De 12:32 AV)

“5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. {pure: Heb. purified }6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” (Pr 30:5-6 AV)

“18  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. {out of the book … : or, from the tree of life } (Re 22:18-19 AV)

The Scriptures must always be used honestly and text fragments quoted with the right intentions.

“And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” (Mic 4:2 AV)

“3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1Ti 2:3-4 AV)

“39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” (Joh 5:39-40 AV)

“15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; {canker: or, gangrene } (2Ti 2:15-17 AV)

“5  Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. {tempt: or, try, or, put to trial, or, proof } (Mt 4:5-7 AV)

We must realize that Jehovah God reveals Himself through the Word that He Himself has made available to mankind. By means of that written Word He has made His intentions known and wishes to enable everyone to come to a good relationship with Him.

“25   Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26  But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:” (Ro 16:25-26 AV)
